Blitzkrieg 2017

2017 Blitzkrieg was dedicated to Team Yankee. It was a 100 point tournament for all our players in which the winners got not one, but TWO t-55AM boxes. that 130 USD in prizes for our champion! Team Yankee is also the new kid on the block so we didn't have everyone at the 100 point level yet so the tournament kicked off with just 8 players. we did pairing randomly but favoring red on blue for the first round. We then did reverse swiss for the following 2 rounds. So for 2017, we have a new way to show the...

A Review of the Team Yankee Chieftans

The Chief - Reviewing Battlefront’s Chieftain Mk. 5/10 kit for Team Yankee   Chieftains advancing through a West German hamlet - two Chieftain Mk.10s with Stillbrew armour lead a Mk.5 The Leopard 2, M60, M1 Abrams all claim to be more iconic of NATO tank forces in the Cold War - yet it is the legendary British Chieftain that takes the crown arguably the first Main Battle Tank of the Cold War. With these gone, the defenders would surely surrender en masse. Mission 4 - The Battle for FrankfurtBridgehead with Soviets Attacking Points: 75 (or mutually agreed)(Terrain should consist of a lot of buildings) Soviet reinforcements: due to Soviets cutting off NATO...

Tip Of The Spear Week Two

Despite stiff resistance from NATO forces, the Soviet armoured divisions have pushed deeper into West Germany, though not without horrendous losses, as NATO soldiers make them pay for every inch of German soil with blood. As strong point after strong point is breeched, only the besieged defenders of the city of Frankfurt are holding out. But the situation is turning grim. Assaulted from all sides by the Red tide, and with supplies running critically low, it is only a matter of time before the city falls. With little time and their options running out fast, elements of the 5th US...
